About Us

Nulls Tracker is a unified AI workout log and macro counter built for bulkers and hardgainers. Built with an anti-bloat ethos, it rejects social feeds and complex plans for pure utility. It combines training volume and diet into growth audits to pinpoint why progress is stalling. Features include low-friction minimal-tap logging, AI macro estimation from meal photos, targeted muscle-building insights, and a "Roast Mode" for blunt reality checks on consistency.

The Story

Hi, I’m Thomas Lai. I’m an AI PhD student and a lifter. For years, I was stuck at 140 lbs and did not know how to break through my weight gain plateau. I wanted personalized advice to fix whatever I was doing wrong, but to get that advice, I needed to track my data first.

The existing apps were frustrating. I got tired of endless database searches, paid barcode scanners, and doing mental math just to log a single meal. When tracking takes that much effort, it is easy to give up. I realized I had to solve the tracking problem before I could solve anything else.

I used my background in artificial intelligence to build Nulls Tracker. It is a minimalist, 2-in-1 workout log and macro counter with zero bloat. Instead of manual data entry, you can take a food photo or type a quick description to instantly parse your macros.

Once I solved the tracking problem, I could finally solve the personalized advice problem. You can ask Nulls to analyze your data at any time to pinpoint the hidden fitness mistakes stalling your progress and give you actionable advice to get back on track. If you want a direct reality check, you can turn on Roast Mode to get blunt, playful feedback about your actual eating and training consistency.

Nulls Tracker started as a project to help me stay consistent and break through my own plateau. Today, it is a fast, privacy-first tool for lifters who want to fix their routine and get results.
